ACR Trainee of the Year Awards 2019
ICE apprentice Kane Wignall was a runner up at the National ACR Trainee of the Year Awards 2019.
The awards ceremony took place on 5th December 2019 at the Belfry Hotel in Birmingham, with just the one award presented on the day.
Kane who was nominated by his college Practical Refrigeration Training Centre in Burnley, also received a cash prize along with an Apple watch for his achievement.
Kane joined the company in 2018 and passed his F Gas qualification 12 months ahead of schedule and has now moved on to an improver status, carrying out small service works without his supervising engineer.
As well as being nominated for the above national award, Kane was also one of the finalists for Apprentice of the Year at the recent Halton Business Awards 2019.
This is a great achievement for Kane to be in the top 3 trainees in the country for a national industry award, everyone at ICE is extremely proud.
