Cellar Cooling Project, London
Cellar Cooling London
Industrial Cooling Equipment Ltd have just completed a Cellar Cooling London Project, maintaining temperature conditions within a feature wine display.
Our client a wine supplier based in London, opened a new high end bar and wine making facility overlooking the banks of the Thames.
Along one wall of the bar area was a wine storage display, with a sliding glass partition wall and mood lighting, to display the large barrels of wine as a feature piece.
Our scope of works was to provide a system to maintain the temperature of the wine in the store within a specified controlled band.
This was a challenging project due to the planning restraints of the area and having no feasible outside space to install a condensing unit. Our design using a ducted condensing unit mounted internally within the building was favorable with the client. We installed duct work to supply and extract air from the condensing unit to an existing louvered grilles installed within the shop front.
The cooling unit was mounted at high level within the wine store, with fans and ductwork installed to circulated conditioned air along the narrow space. Within the internal cooling unit we installed trim heaters to allow close control if the temperature dipped below the required threshold.
Control of the system was via a wall mounted digital controller with sensors, manufactured by Siemens and installed within the wine store.
Industrial Cooling Equipment Ltd can design, supply, install and commission a large range of cellar cooling systems at competitive rates.
