COVID-19 Business Continuity Statement
Following the recent government announcement to step up measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, we feel it’s important we provide you with an update on our Business Continuity Plans.
ICE Ltd have in place robust Business Continuity Plans (BCP) which will help us operate and serve our clients during this challenging time but have felt it right to adapt these plans inline with current government advice.
We have decided to suspend all non-essential works until further notice and as of Friday 27th March 2020 our offices will be closed with key members of staff working from home with the telephones diverted to mobiles.
Measures have been put in place to support our NHS, Pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, education and other critical clients.
We will still have engineers working to carry out emergency call outs, repair works and any essential maintenance and compliance works. Our engineers will also still be on call 24 hours per day as normal.
All of our staff are aware of the guidelines on how best to protect themselves and others against this virus and have been asked not to come in if they feel unwell as per the Government’s advice.
We also have separation measures in place to limit contact between each team of engineers therefore preventing taking out large numbers of staff in the event of having to self isolate.
We are in constant dialogue with our suppliers and at the moment are not experiencing any supply concerns, our warehouse has increased stock levels which are being constantly monitored. If the situation regarding our supply chain changes we will keep our clients fully informed.
It is our collective responsibility is to ensure we safeguard health and mitigate the risk of infection to all and we feel the above measures allow us to do this whilst still serving critical industries with the service they require.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will respond, without delay, to any new guidelines as soon as they are issued.
