Evaporative Cooling Systems
Industrial Cooling Equipment are an approved distributor and installer of the market-leading Breezair evaporative cooling systems.
Evaporative cooling or adiabatic cooling is the most energy efficient way to cooling large spaces with high heat loads such as production halls, bakeries, warehouses, pharmaceutical drug storage (MHRA), printers etc.
What are the Benefits?
Up to 80% saving on running costs compared to DX air conditioning systems.
No chemical refrigerants within the system such as CFC’s or HFC’.
Only water and electricity used.
Cost effective installation.
Environmentally friendly option – less fossil fuels such as coal and natural gas are consumed in the production of electricity used in cooling.
Less greenhouse gas production
Using a natural process, evaporative cooling improves indoor air quality by drawing 100% fresh air over wetted pads which provides a very cost competitive solution in both capital and running costs, to cool large open spaces
During colder ambient months, if cooling is still needed the coolers can be run on ventilation only mode to provide ‘free cooling’. Evaporative cooling can save you up to 80% on running costs compared to conventional DX air conditioning systems as the only power-consuming components are the fan and a small water pump.
As the systems do not recirculate air within a building or space. Supplying 100% fresh, filtered air into your building with extraction removing unhealthy pollution, this makes evaporative cooling a healthy solution.
ICE can provide full design, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance to suit your cooling requirements. From initial site survey our technical sales team will gather information such as desired operating temperature, building size, fabric, glazing, lighting, equipment loads and carry out detailed heat load calculations to determine the correct system selection for your application.
